About Kerrie
Kerrie joined Haille Paine in 2014 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2016, becoming an Associate in 2018. Throughout her career, she worked in various areas of law, with a particular focus in recent years on estate planning and the administration of deceased estates, including probate and family provision claims. Kerrie emphasised the importance of having comprehensive estate planning documents in place—such as a will, power of attorney and enduring guardian—regardless of age. Raised in the Southern Highlands and educated at Bowral High School, Kerrie was well-regarded within the local legal community for her compassionate and reassuring manner, providing much-needed support to clients during challenging times, such as the loss of a loved one. She was an active participant in women’s networking groups and contributed to the wider community through various initiatives. Kerrie also enjoyed camping, photography and exploring the natural beauty of the region. Her dedication and empathetic approach earned her considerable respect among colleagues and clients alike. Kerrie’s untimely passing in February 2024 is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working with her.
