Heather Guthrie

Heather Guthrie has been practising law since 1983 after graduating from Monash University with degrees in Laws and Economics. In 1986, she established Guthrie & Associates, a firm dedicated to serving the Somerville community. Over the years, Heather has developed lasting relationships with clients, many of whom have relied on her legal guidance through several generations. Her approach centres on providing personalised and compassionate advice tailored to each client’s needs. Under her leadership, Guthrie & Associates has grown to include two additional lawyers, continuing to prioritise support and engagement with the local community. Heather’s experience spans a broad range of areas including civil litigation, commercial law, conveyancing and real property, debts and insolvency, family law including family violence and statutory offences, general litigation, road and traffic matters, small business, as well as wills and estates.
