Jason Grant

Jason Grant was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2013, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in the legal profession. His foundational experiences included work at the Inns of Court Barristers chambers in Southport and with one of Australia’s leading top-tier law firms. In June 2012, he joined Hannay Lawyers as a legal clerk, embracing an environment that offered a more hands-on approach to the law. This exposure inspired him to establish Grant Lawyers, where he could engage in daily court advocacy and foster strong client relationships. Jason has cultivated a broad expertise across various criminal matters, having practiced in every criminal jurisdiction in South-East Queensland. He appears in court daily, adeptly handling cases that range from minor traffic offences, such as securing restricted work licences, to more serious issues involving offences of violence, drug trafficking, supply or importation, fraud, and sexual offences. His proficiency in document discovery is a notable asset, enhancing his ability to effectively defend clients. Through his consistent court appearances, Jason has amassed substantial experience and forged valuable relationships within the legal community. His engagements extend to regularly attending inquiries by the Crime and Corruption Commission and the Australian Crime Commission, offering him a comprehensive understanding of complex legal investigations. Outside of his professional commitments, Jason enjoys the outdoors, particularly boating and fishing, which provides a balancing counterpoint to his extensive legal work.
