Ashleigh Thompson

Ashleigh Thompson was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2022 and to the High Court of Australia in June 2022. Since her admission, she has practised exclusively in Family Law, developing a strong commitment to supporting clients through complex and often sensitive matters. Ashleigh’s interest in law was shaped by her personal experiences with family violence, which fuel her dedication to advocating for justice and the best possible outcomes for her clients. She adopts a straightforward and honest approach when advising clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their options throughout the legal process. Ashleigh regularly represents clients in parenting and property matters, assisting at both mediation sessions and court proceedings. Her focus is on achieving resolutions that acknowledge the unique circumstances of each case. Outside of her legal practice, Ashleigh enjoys exploring Australia, visiting the Hunter Valley wineries, and spending time with her beloved pets.
