Danny Lagopodis is a Principal Legal Practitioner and Managing Director with nearly 35 years of experience practising as a Solicitor and Barrister in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Wollongong, alongside a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Macquarie University. Admitted to the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia, Danny brings a comprehensive understanding of the law combined with a strong commercial insight. Throughout his career, Danny has developed extensive expertise across a broad range of legal fields including Criminal Law at both Local and District Court levels, Business and Commercial Law, Children’s Law focusing on Care and Protection matters, Elder Law, and Estates and Probate. His experience also encompasses property matters and commercial contracts and disputes, allowing him to provide well-rounded advice and representation for his clients. Danny’s professional background prior to law includes roles as a Financial Credit Analyst for a major corporate bank and work with the Australian Taxation Office. This diverse experience enhances his ability to handle complex financial and commercial legal issues. He has also contributed to legal education as a lecturer, tutor, and fellow in the Law Faculty at the University of Wollongong for many years. Over his career, Danny has served as an advocate in numerous high-profile matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the Local, District and Supreme Courts, Family Court, Federal Court, and the High Court of Australia.
