About Kerri
Kerri Fretwell was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 1999 and to the High Court of Australia in September 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University and has been recognised for academic excellence during her earlier studies. Kerri’s legal practice primarily focuses on family law, including child-related matters, property settlements, and de facto property issues, as well as cases involving the Department of Child Safety. She also has experience in criminal law, property law, and estate matters. In addition to her legal work, Kerri contributes to the community through her role on the Research & Ethics Committee at Mater Misericordiae Hospital.
