About Halle
James Argiris has been practising law since 1978 and has been a partner at the firm since 1985. His extensive experience encompasses residential and commercial conveyancing, buying and selling of businesses, leasing, commercial litigation, court appearances, criminal law, and wills and estates. James is known for his strong client relationships, providing practical advice aimed at resolving legal matters efficiently and cost-effectively. Supported by a long-standing team, he works collaboratively to secure the best outcomes for his clients. Halle Brown was admitted as a solicitor in 2024 after completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Newcastle, along with a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Criminology. She has been with the firm since 2021, progressing through roles from receptionist and legal secretary to solicitor. Halle’s practice covers family law, including property and children matters, wills and estates, conveyancing, leasing, and business transactions. She also contributes to family law legal aid and estate planning through pro bono work with organisations such as the Cancer Council, Salvation Army, and Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. Halle is closely connected to the Hunter Valley community where she grew up, and in her spare time enjoys visiting her family and farm, going to the gym, and playing netball.
