About Kevin
Kevin Beattie holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland and completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. He was admitted as a lawyer on 9 June 2017. Kevin has extensive experience in personal injury law, having commenced his career in 1978 handling personal injury claims with GIO New South Wales. From 1989 onwards, he has worked with Gall, Standfield & Tiley (later Smith) Solicitors, representing both claimants and defendants in personal injury matters. This broad perspective enables him to provide well-rounded advice to clients navigating personal injury disputes. A long-standing member of the Queensland Law Society, Kevin is committed to professional development and community involvement. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, chess, and following thoroughbred racing. Kevin values the challenge of guiding clients through the complexities of personal injury litigation and draws on decades of experience to deliver pragmatic solutions. If he were not practising law, he would consider pursuing a career in politics.
