Nicholas O’Bryan

Nicholas O’Bryan is a Partner and Managing Partner of the personal injury department at Galbally & O’Bryan, bringing over three decades of experience in personal injury law since 1986. Throughout his career, Nicholas has secured compensation for thousands of clients facing complex injury claims, demonstrating a strong commitment to fair and efficient outcomes. Nicholas provides practical and thorough advice, often assisting clients on a no win – no charge basis, with a free initial consultation to evaluate potential claims. His expertise spans a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle and transport accidents, workplace injuries managed under WorkCover, public liability claims, medical negligence, and federal legislation claims such as those under ComCare and the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act. He holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to practice in 1985. Since joining Galbally & O’Bryan in 1989, Nicholas has led the firm’s personal injury division from 1995, guiding its focus on effective client advocacy. He also contributes to the legal profession through active participation in the Law Institute of Victoria’s Transport Accident Committee and Tort Law Reform Working Group, as well as the Australian Lawyers Alliance Victorian State Committee.
