About Suzanne
Suzanne Stannett has been practising as a solicitor since her admission in Queensland in 1992, following her graduation from QUT. Throughout her career, she has worked across a broad spectrum of legal areas, with a particular focus on family law. Her extensive experience in other fields of law provides her with a comprehensive perspective that can be invaluable in family law matters, given the frequent intersection of different legal issues in these cases. In 2005, Suzanne attained accreditation as a Family Law practitioner, and the following year she became a Mediator of Disputes recognised by the Queensland Law Society. She also completed the Barrister’s Practice Course in Queensland in 2006, further enhancing her litigation and advocacy skills. Suzanne’s approach to family law is informed not only by her professional experience but also by her personal insights, having navigated the complexities of blended family life firsthand. This unique perspective enables her to understand and support clients through the practical realities beyond legal proceedings. As the CEO and Director of her practice, Suzanne leads a dedicated team committed to delivering practical and empathetic legal solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with documentary series, appreciating storytelling that delves into intricate and compelling real-life cases.
