David Grant

David Grant was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 1966 and later in Victoria in 1978. In recognition of his long-standing commitment to the profession, he was honoured with life membership of the Law Society of New South Wales in 2015 and marked 50 years as a qualified NSW solicitor in 2016. Throughout his career, David has gained extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas. He has particular expertise in water law, including the legislation and procedures governing water rights and usage. From 1995 until 2008, he served as the local solicitor for Murray Irrigation Limited, Australia's largest private irrigation corporation, providing him with deep insights into the complexities of water management and related legal matters. David’s practice also encompasses conveyancing and property law, commercial transactions, leases, as well as estate planning services including wills, probate, guardianship, and powers of attorney. Additionally, he has worked in areas involving local government and environmental law, contributing to his well-rounded legal background.
