About Rowena
Rowena Ferrall completed her Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University in Townsville in 2002, followed by initial legal training with the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (ATSILS) in Townsville. She further advanced her legal education by obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma from the Australian National University in Canberra, finalising this qualification in 2004—the same year she was admitted to practice as a solicitor. Rowena is admitted to practise in Queensland and before the High Court of Australia, enabling her to represent clients in all Queensland courts as well as federally-based courts across the country. Since her admission, Rowena has gained extensive experience working in general litigation across Townsville, the Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane. After several years practising as a generalist, she chose to establish her own boutique legal practice. Her approach emphasises relaxed client consultations and a transparent, manageable fee structure. Additionally, her practice includes the presence of two companion animals, who offer comfort and support to clients when needed.
