Tasha Russell

Tasha Russell is the Managing Director and Principal Solicitor at Ellery Brookman. She relocated to Kalgoorlie from South Australia in 2017 and has since established strong ties within the community. Tasha obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Charles Darwin University in 2016, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Adelaide. Joining Ellery Brookman in 2018, she gained invaluable experience under the mentorship of the firm’s founder, Lisa Ellery, before assuming ownership in 2022. Prior to her work at Ellery Brookman, Tasha contributed to the not-for-profit sector, where she advocated for law reform and developed a reputation for insightful legal commentary. Her perspectives have been featured internationally, including interviews with various media outlets and publications by the U.S. legal news service, Jurist. Tasha’s experience spans commercial and business law, deceased estates, family law, mining law, civil litigation, and debt collection. She represents clients across multiple judicial forums, including the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts of Western Australia, as well as the Family Court, Federal Court of Australia, and Wardens Court. Outside the office, Tasha enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and prospecting. She is a dedicated supporter of the Port Adelaide Football Club and values the strong community spirit found in Kalgoorlie, often engaging with friends and colleagues in social settings.
