Graeme Alexander

Graeme Alexander is an experienced energy and resources lawyer with a unique background that combines his early career as a mineral geologist with extensive legal practice in the oil and gas sector. Throughout his career, Graeme has worked across the mining, energy and petroleum industries, providing legal advice in diverse jurisdictions including New South Wales, Western Australia, New Zealand, South-east Asia, North and South America, and Papua New Guinea. Graeme has acted as counsel and provided consulting services to numerous petroleum and energy companies internationally. His experience includes secondment roles as corporate counsel for petroleum companies based in Sydney. He has played a key role in managing complex transactions, such as initial public offerings and capital raisings, as well as overseeing the legal aspects of financing, construction of an oil refinery, and the acquisition of major petroleum distribution businesses in Papua New Guinea. Outside of his legal career, Graeme enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his wife, including alpaca farming, walking their four dogs and cycling.
