Robyn Watson

Robyn Watson is an experienced family law consultant who has been practising since 2005, following her graduation from Murdoch University. Throughout her career, Robyn has developed a client-centred approach, prioritising attentive listening and the provision of practical, realistic advice tailored to each individual’s circumstances. Robyn's approach focuses on facilitating fair and efficient resolutions, often helping clients to find common ground and achieve outcomes without the need for adversarial court proceedings. She understands that most family law clients seek amicable solutions to enable them to move forward with their lives. In cases where agreement cannot be reached, Robyn provides clear and comprehensive guidance through the Family Court and Children’s Court processes. She offers thorough case preparation and assertive representation, ensuring her clients’ interests are effectively advocated. Her practice encompasses all areas of family law, including property settlements, parenting matters, child support, divorce, and grandparent applications. Robyn is a trained Independent Children’s Lawyer and has represented the interests of children in complex parenting cases. Additionally, she is accredited to conduct family dispute resolution for both parenting and property matters. Robyn is a member of several professional bodies, including the Family Law Practitioners of Western Australia, the Law Society of Western Australia, and Women Lawyers of Western Australia. She also serves on the Legal Aid and Cross-Examination Scheme panels, further reflecting her commitment to access to justice.
