Deon Van Dyk

Deon Van Dyk brings a wealth of international experience to his legal practice, having earned a BA (Hons) from Washburn University in Kansas, USA, an LL.B, and a postgraduate diploma in Forensic and Investigative Accounting from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is admitted to practise law in both South Africa and Australia, and has a background working in private practice across these jurisdictions. With over two decades of continuous legal experience, Deon’s work covers a broad range of areas. He has concentrated extensively on commercial law, including civil litigation, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, providing commercial legal advice, and company-related matters, including company rescue and insolvency. His postgraduate training in forensic and investigative accounting has been particularly valuable in his insolvency practice, where he applies accounting principles to complex legal issues. In addition to commercial and insolvency law, Deon’s expertise extends to criminal law, family law, wills and estate administration, as well as property and conveyancing matters.
