Paloma Sessions is a senior associate with extensive experience in family law, holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree specialising in Family Law and dispute resolution. She brings a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in family legal matters, combining academic excellence with practical expertise. Paloma has an extensive background in private practice, having worked for several years alongside Helen prior to the establishment of Ede Family Law. Her approach to legal matters is thorough and considered, marked by empathy and pragmatic insight, enabling her to provide clients with clear and effective guidance during challenging times. In addition to her private practice experience, Paloma has worked within government roles focusing on Child Law, including cases litigated under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. This experience has equipped her with a nuanced understanding of international legal frameworks and child protection issues. After a period living in California with her young family, Paloma returned to Australia and joined Ede Family Law. Beyond her legal career, she enjoys outdoor pursuits such as wilderness exploration, skiing, and sailing, demonstrating a versatile and adventurous spirit that complements her professional dedication.
