Throughout his career, Peter has conducted trials across various courts, including the Local, District and Supreme Courts, handling matters ranging from traffic offences to complex murder trials. His expertise in cross-examination is well recognised by judges, magistrates, prosecutors and colleagues alike. In Family law, Peter has appeared at all levels of the Family Court, dealing with numerous property and custody cases that have contributed to case law. Additionally, he has considerable experience in wills and estates, with a focus on family provision claims. Beyond his legal practice, Peter is also appointed as a Notary Public. His commitment to service extends into meaningful volunteer work, where he has held numerous leadership roles. These include serving as the inaugural Chairman of the Charitable Heart of Sydney Foundation and Chairing the Hills Community Golf Classic Committee for several years. He contributed to the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games as a volunteer committee member and chaired the NSW Paralympic Committee. Peter's dedication to fostering legal education is evident in his long-term role as a judge in the NSW Law Society Mock Trial program, including adjudicating its grand final. In 2000, he had the rare honour of carrying both the Olympic and Paralympic torches. His service to the business community has been recognised with life membership of the Dural & Round Corner Chamber of Commerce. Further demonstrating his leadership and community spirit, Peter chaired the Bid Committee and served as Vice-Chairman of the Host Committee for the 2010 Lions Clubs International Convention, Sydney’s largest ever. His ongoing involvement with charitable organisations includes the Inala Charity Golf Day Committee, as well as receiving numerous awards from Lions Clubs International, such as the International President’s Medal and the International Leadership Award.
