John Loneragan

John Loneragan is a Consultant Solicitor with extensive experience in property law, particularly in conveyancing. Admitted as a Solicitor in the early 1990s, John has practised continuously since that time, building a strong reputation in residential, commercial and rural property transactions. John’s academic background began with a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University. Following this, he pursued his interest in law by completing a Bachelor of Legal Studies while working at L Rundle Solicitors in Sydney. In 1990, John returned to Mudgee and joined what was then Dear & Lonergan Solicitors. Initially, he worked in criminal and family law at Mudgee Local Court, representing clients across the Mid-Western Region as the firm’s profile expanded. As the practice developed, John focused on growing the firm’s conveyancing services. He sold his partnership share in 2006 to Allan Hogan but remained with the firm as a Consultant Solicitor. He has maintained a long-standing client base for whom he handles all aspects of property conveyancing. John’s professionalism and deep understanding of property law have earned him loyal clients who value his expertise and commitment. Outside of his legal career, John enjoys renovating his home and following his favourite sports team. He also values spending quality time fishing with his children. Additionally, John contributes to local community projects and supports the Bligh Amateur Picnic Racing Club.
