Greg Anderson

Greg Anderson is a founding partner of DEA Lawyers with extensive experience in litigation across a broad spectrum of legal matters. He began his career at a reputable suburban law firm, where he developed a solid foundation in various litigation areas over a decade. Subsequently, Greg worked at a boutique firm in Sydney’s CBD, specialising in strata and community title disputes. He gained significant expertise in building defect claims, leveraging his deep understanding of construction processes and common issues that arise during building projects. This knowledge allows him to effectively navigate matters involving builders, developers, insurers and technical experts engaged in diagnosing building defects. Greg is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and has managed litigation across most jurisdictions in New South Wales. He is also experienced in mediation and arbitration, providing clients with alternative pathways for dispute resolution. Committed to sharing his knowledge, Greg has presented papers and led training sessions for strata managers, expert witnesses and fellow practitioners on strata and community title disputes as well as building defect claims. His practice encompasses commercial litigation, construction litigation, building defect claims, insurance disputes, negligence claims and strata and community title scheme matters, particularly those connected with building defects.
