Nigel is at the helm of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution team, wielding extensive experience across a broad spectrum of litigation matters. His expertise spans deceased estate litigation, family provision claims, contractual and construction disputes, as well as trust and property issues. Known for his instinctive aptitude in identifying and analysing pertinent factors in his clients' cases, Nigel excels at delineating clear, strategic steps to achieve favourable outcomes. His objective perspective allows him to foresee potential obstacles and address them proactively. Nigel is particularly drawn to complex cases with distinctive challenges, relishing the opportunity to untangle these intricacies through his judicious reasoning and pragmatic methods. In collaboration with the firm's technology partner, ContactsLaw, Nigel has been instrumental in the creation of systems that significantly slash costs while enhancing service quality. Under his leadership, the firm has also pioneered an innovative debt collection service, Get Paid Debt Collection. During his time as a recipient of the esteemed New Colombo Plan Scholarship, Nigel enriched his legal insight by studying at Renmin University of China in Beijing, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, while also travelling throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Outside the legal realm, Nigel is an avid enthusiast of outdoor activities, engaging in scuba diving, triathlons, and running. He also challenges himself regularly by competing in the Avon Descent kayaking event for several years.
