Michael Hodgkins

Michael is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 27 years of experience at Curae Law, where he has dedicated his career to addressing the diverse legal needs of Western Australia. His practice encompasses succession, property, family, and estate law, providing both litigation and advisory expertise. In 2011, Michael led Curae Law's innovative transition to a NewLaw business model. This included the creation of several legal service brands such as Flat Rate Settlements, Perth Probate Centre, Perth Wills Centre, and Get Paid Debt Collection. These initiatives have significantly reshaped the legal landscape in Western Australia by offering clients transparency through fixed pricing and delivering practical, forward-thinking legal solutions. Michael's leadership is characterised by his commitment to nurturing substantial client relationships and promoting a vibrant workplace environment. He commenced his legal career at Curae Law as an articled clerk in 1996, leading to his admission to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1997. Outside his legal career, Michael is a talented clarinetist, having performed with notable groups like the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, OpusWA Arts Orchestra and Chorale, and the Fremantle Symphony Orchestra, frequently appearing as a soloist.
