Sandra Clive

Sandra Clive is the Principal of CBC’s litigation division, overseeing both the litigation and dispute resolution, as well as the family law teams. With close to two decades of legal experience, Sandra’s practice spans a broad range of areas, reflecting her commitment to providing comprehensive legal advice. In an era where many lawyers focus on narrower fields, Sandra’s broad expertise distinguishes her and ensures clients receive well-rounded and informed guidance tailored to the complexities of their matters. At 28, Sandra became one of the youngest female equity partners in North Queensland, a significant achievement that highlights her professional capabilities and leadership within the legal community. Her educational background includes a dual degree in Law and Commerce, with majors in accounting and finance, equipping her with a strong commercial and financial understanding that complements her legal practice. Beyond her legal career, Sandra has contributed extensively to corporate governance. She has served as chair of the Bowen District Health Council, as director and secretary of Tropical Medical Training, and currently contributes to the Diocesan Finance Council of the Roman Catholic Trust Corporation. These roles underscore her aptitude for governance and her ability to navigate complex organisational frameworks. Sandra approaches her work with a strong sense of dedication and strategic acumen. She brings the same energy and passion to all facets of her life, including raising her two children, Brandon and Mia, engaging in sports—especially basketball, where she earned the nickname ‘Cyclone’ during her state league days with the Burdekin Wildcats—playing the piano, and maintaining her fitness.
