Cassandra Adorni-Braccesi

Cassandra Adorni-Braccesi is a Senior Associate at CBC Lawyers with extensive experience in Family Law and Criminal Law. She completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Cassandra began her legal career as a law clerk at a busy criminal law firm before moving to Mackay shortly after her admission in December 2014. Throughout her career, Cassandra has developed a strong commitment to supporting clients during some of the most challenging and emotional periods in their lives. She is known for her ability to listen attentively, explain legal processes clearly, and provide realistic expectations regarding possible outcomes. Cassandra approaches every client matter with compassion and empathy, recognising the personal difficulties often associated with family and criminal law issues. Cassandra is an effective advocate in both Family and Criminal Law courts. However, she is mindful of the emotional and financial costs involved with court proceedings and prioritises resolving disputes amicably and efficiently where possible. She utilises mediation and negotiation strategies to seek outcomes that work well for clients and their families before initiating formal legal action. Outside of her legal practice, Cassandra enjoys baking, musical theatre, and engaging in nature-related activities, having completed challenging long-distance hikes such as the Australian Alps Walking Track and the Larapinta Trail. Having recently relocated back to Victoria to be closer to family, Cassandra continues to provide dedicated legal support remotely from her home state.
