Outside of his professional life, Matthew is a family man with a passion for gardening and a strong connection to his local community. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Carlton Football Club. His personal interests include philosophy, particularly the work of Gilles Deleuze, and literature, with favourites ranging from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings.
