Nick Johansen

Nick Johansen is a partner at Cozens Johansen Lawyers, bringing extensive experience in commercial and resource law within the Northern Territory. After completing his studies in law and economics, Nick spent over seven years practising in the commercial law division of the Territory's largest law firm. He then co-founded Cozens Johansen Lawyers to provide specialised legal services across a broad spectrum of areas. Nick holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Charles Darwin University and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide, complemented by a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University. He is admitted as a legal practitioner in the Northern Territory and is registered on the High Court of Australia Register of Practitioners. His practice encompasses energy and resources law, pastoral, agricultural and fisheries sectors, as well as construction law, property conveyancing and business and commercial law. Nick is actively involved with professional organisations including the Resources and Energy Law Association (AMPLA) and the Law Society of the Northern Territory, reflecting his commitment to staying current with developments relevant to his clients.
