Elizabeth Cummings

Elizabeth Cummings is the principal of Conlan Cummings, bringing extensive experience in family law, estate planning, and estate administration. She combines a compassionate approach with strategic insight, offering clients clear and practical guidance through complex and often emotionally challenging matters. Elizabeth represents clients effectively both in court and in negotiated settlements, always seeking outcomes that prioritise the wellbeing of individuals and their families. Her legal career commenced while she was still at university, working as a clerk before graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University in 2004. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2005, Elizabeth initially practised in general commercial law before directing her focus to family and estate law. In 2016, Elizabeth joined Conlan Cummings as a partner alongside her father, Gerard Conlan, and in 2023 she assumed the role of principal, continuing the firm’s dedication to personalised and thorough legal service.
