About Kirsten
Kirsten Lesina is an experienced family lawyer who provides compassionate and practical legal support to individuals and families during difficult times. Kirsten graduated from James Cook University in 2008 and went on to complete her Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University. She was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2013. Early in her career, Kirsten worked in a generalist law firm where she gained broad experience including wills and estates, contract law, and employment law. It was her work with families that inspired her to focus on family law, reflecting her commitment to providing supportive and effective legal solutions. Her personal experience of separation while raising two young children informs her empathetic and pragmatic approach. Kirsten understands the emotional and practical challenges her clients face and strives to offer steady guidance alongside strong advocacy. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs, reading, and being with her children.
