Bill Ross is a partner with extensive experience spanning over 30 years, having joined the firm in 1980 and becoming a partner in 1991. A Gold Coast native, Bill brings a deep understanding of his community and clients’ needs, combining direct and pragmatic advice with strong advocacy skills to achieve effective outcomes both in and out of court. Bill is admitted as a Solicitor to the High Court of Australia, the Supreme Courts of Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory. He is also a former Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland. His professional memberships include the Queensland Law Society and the Gold Coast Law Association. With credentials as a Personal Injury Law Accredited Practitioner, Bill’s practice areas encompass family law, personal injury matters, wills and estates, as well as disputes, litigation and court appearances. He draws on his broad experience to handle a wide range of legal challenges with insight and dedication. Beyond his legal work, Bill maintains a strong commitment to community service. He provides pro bono legal advice and serves as Honorary Solicitor and committee member for various local clubs and associations, including the Burleigh Bears Rugby League Football Club and the Gold Coast Legacy Club. He has also supported numerous sporting and community groups through incorporation and sponsorship, reflecting a lifelong dedication to the Gold Coast region. Bill balances his professional and community commitments with a focus on family, living locally with his wife, three children, and several grandchildren.
