Rachael King

Rachael King is the Legal Practice Director, Co-Founder, and Co-Owner of her firm, bringing a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her legal practice. She began her legal studies at the University of Notre Dame in 2009, balancing the demands of her Bachelor of Laws degree while expecting her first child. In 2016, Rachael was admitted to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, marking the start of her professional legal career. Committed to expanding her knowledge, Rachael completed a Masters of Applied Law focusing on Family Law through the College of Law in 2019. Prior to entering the legal profession, she earned a degree in Psychology and worked in Social Work. This background enriches her legal practice by providing a deeper understanding of client needs and the complexities often involved in family law matters. Rachael is particularly experienced in handling sensitive family violence cases, approaching these situations with the utmost care and respect. Her practice covers a broad range of family law issues, including international relocation disputes, appeals, spousal maintenance arrangements, Binding Financial Agreements, surrogacy, and grandparent rights. As a skilled litigator and negotiator, she is dedicated to achieving equitable outcomes in both property and parenting disputes. Drawing on her personal experience as a single parent, Rachael is deeply attuned to the importance of effective co-parenting and works diligently to secure fair property settlements that protect her clients’ financial interests. Outside her professional life, Rachael is a devoted mother who enjoys spending time at the beach with her two children, as well as travelling, reading, and socialising with friends and family.
