About Kerry
Kerry Kovacs joined Clarke Hemmerling Lawyers in November 2023 as Special Counsel, bringing extensive experience in Family Law. Since her admission to practise in February 2001, Kerry has developed a strong background in complex family law matters, particularly in property and children’s issues. Kerry completed the bar readers course and practised as Counsel from 2008 in both South Australia and Queensland. Prior to practising independently, she spent seven years as a barrister and solicitor, frequently representing clients in challenging family law litigation. She holds a law degree from the University of Adelaide and a business degree from the University of South Australia, majoring in Human Resource Development. Kerry is admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia and has completed Advanced Advocacy Training with the Australian Bar Association. Kerry’s approach combines thorough attention to detail with strong negotiation skills, often identifying key factors that facilitate favourable resolutions. She is committed to working closely with clients, ensuring they are well informed throughout the progression of their matters.
