About Cassidy
Cassidy Kennedy is a partner practising personal injury law, with experience serving clients in Gladstone and Bundaberg. Growing up in a coal mining town west of Mackay, Cassidy has a strong connection to regional Queensland and an understanding of the issues facing local communities. She completed her secondary schooling at Chanel College in Gladstone before earning her Bachelor of Laws in Mackay. Cassidy began her career in personal injury law as a paralegal in 2018 and was admitted as a lawyer in 2020. After initially joining Chris Trevor & Associates in 2022, she returned to the firm permanently in 2023. Cassidy’s practice covers a wide range of personal injury matters, including claims arising from coal mining accidents and fatalities, coal dust lung diseases, and conditions such as asbestosis and mesothelioma. She also has experience handling industry and workplace accidents, medical negligence cases, public liability claims, and insurance claims through superannuation funds, including income protection and total and permanent disablement benefits. Committed to advocating for her clients, Cassidy is dedicated to guiding them through the complexities of the claims and litigation process while prioritising their needs and concerns. She maintains active membership in the Queensland Law Society and the Gladstone Law Association. Outside her legal work, Cassidy contributes to the community as a board member of the Zonta Club of Gladstone.
