Dannielle Ford

Dannielle Ford, a Director at Cheney Suthers, is a highly skilled lawyer with extensive experience in wills and estates litigation, family law, and collaborative law. She began her career in a regional firm, which equipped her with a diverse legal understanding. Dannielle's practice is characterised by a focus on reducing conflict through alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and conciliation, and is committed to reaching amicable solutions without court intervention. However, if litigation is necessary, she is well-versed in representing clients across various court levels, including the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of New South Wales and federal jurisdictions. As an Independent Children’s Lawyer, she advocates for the best interests of children in family law proceedings, thoroughly assessing evidence and engaging with relevant parties to provide independent recommendations to the Court. Dannielle also represents clients in personal injury cases, including medical negligence and motor vehicle accidents, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout the legal process. Her contributions to the legal field and community have been recognised with numerous awards, such as the 2024 Outstanding Young Business Leader of the Year and the Law Society of NSW’s Rural or Regional Practitioner of the Year. Dannielle graduated with a Bachelor of Criminology/Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and has been part of the firm since 2009. Outside of her professional role, she is dedicated to community engagement as President of the Central West Law Society and enjoys family time with Luna, her Labrador.
