Christopher Aoun is a partner with over ten years of experience advising clients on a diverse range of property, banking, finance, and general commercial matters. Christopher is recognised as a trusted adviser who applies strong problem-solving skills to complex legal issues, offering a pragmatic approach that supports effective decision-making. Throughout his career, he has represented a wide array of clients, including banks, finance companies, insurers, property investors and developers, small to medium enterprises, institutional investors, as well as superannuation and development funds. Before joining Centurion Lawyers, Christopher was a Senior Associate in the Property, Banking and Finance, and Corporate and Commercial teams at a well-regarded mid-tier firm in Sydney’s CBD. His experience encompasses property law, including acquisitions, disposals, and development projects, as well as handling complex land titling matters, covenants, and easements. He advises on leasing arrangements across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. In banking and finance, Christopher acts for major financiers and borrowers in a variety of transactions such as project finance, mezzanine funding, private equity deals involving debt-to-equity conversions, and profit participation agreements. He also provides guidance on business transactions involving acquisitions and disposals of assets, shares, and units, along with corporate structuring and compliance. Additionally, Christopher has acted for one of Australia’s largest refrigerated logistics providers, bringing valuable insight to matters in transport and logistics law.
