Amelia Brayley

Amelia Brayley is a Senior Associate located in our Newcastle office with over nine years of experience in family law. She has developed extensive expertise in all areas of family law, assisting clients through complex matters involving separation, divorce, child and spousal support, family violence allegations, relocation issues, financial settlement, and consent orders. Amelia recently completed her National Mediation Accreditation in March 2024 and earned a Masters in Applied Law with a focus on Family Dispute Resolution Practice in June 2024. She is currently working towards registration as a family dispute resolution practitioner (FDRP). This additional qualification enhances her ability to support clients in resolving disputes amicably outside of court, where possible. Known for providing clear and practical advice, Amelia often helps clients achieve outcomes through alternative dispute resolution, minimising the stress and costs associated with litigation. However, when necessary, she is a determined advocate who robustly represents her clients’ interests in court proceedings. Amelia is committed to guiding her clients through difficult family law disputes with empathy and professionalism.
