About Rachael
Rachael began her legal career as an enthusiastic university intern with Carter Ferguson in 2017, and she now excels in the realms of Wills and Estates and general commercial disputes. Her academic credentials include a double degree in Law & Psychological Science from the University of Wollongong, which she completed in June 2019. Following this, Rachael obtained her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law and was admitted to the Supreme Court in October 2019. Dedicated to advancing her expertise, she is currently pursuing a Masters of Law (Applied Law) with a focus on Wills & Estates. Rachael’s caseload includes equity claims in the Supreme Court, such as family provision claims and will validity disputes, as well as assisting clients with contested intestate estates and applications for grants of Letters of Administration and Probate. Her empathetic and compassionate approach provides crucial support to clients during challenging times. In addition to her Wills and Estates practice, Rachael has considerable experience representing clients in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). She handles a variety of matters in the Consumer and Commercial Division, including commercial and building disputes, as well as contested Financial Management and Guardianship Applications in the Guardianship Division. Rachael thrives in the dynamic legal environment and is committed to lifelong learning and development. Although she hails originally from England and spent her formative years in America, Rachael now proudly identifies as a South Coast local. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys quality time with her energetic Groodle puppy and exploring the vibrant café scene across the South Coast & Illawarra.
