Scott is a Director at Burgess Legal, bringing extensive experience and a deep commitment to his role. He holds a double degree in Law and Criminology from Western Sydney University, which laid a strong foundation in legal principles complemented by practical experience. These international experiences have enriched his understanding of different legal frameworks and cross-cultural issues. Following completion of his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law, Scott commenced his career at Burgess Legal, focusing on family law, conveyancing, and wills and estates. Scott’s experience in family law encompasses a wide range of matters including property settlements, parenting arrangements, divorce, financial agreements, and achieving resolutions through negotiation, mediation, and court proceedings. He also handles related family concerns such as wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardianships, estate planning, conveyancing, probate, deceased estate administration, as well as disputes over estates and family provision claims. Committed to ongoing professional development, Scott is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (Applied Law) with a concentration in family law and wills and estates.
