Mark Laughton

Mark Laughton is a legal practitioner at BSA, bringing extensive experience gained over nearly 23 years with Victoria Police, where he specialised in covert policing. Since joining BSA in October 2011, Mark has applied his thorough understanding of the criminal justice system to advising clients primarily in criminal law and family law matters. In addition to his work in these areas, Mark assists clients with issues relating to wills and estates, building and planning disputes, and property law. His diverse background equips him to handle a broad range of legal challenges with practical insight. Mark holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, alongside a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. He is admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Outside of his legal practice, Mark serves as a Branch Director for the Balnarring District & Community Bank and holds the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Navy as a Reserve Legal Officer in the Australian Defence Force.
