Jasmine Daniel

Jasmine Daniel is a partner at Barbaro Thilthorpe Lawyers, bringing extensive experience in criminal law and personal injury to her role. She began her legal career with the firm in 2015 as a Law Clerk while completing her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) alongside a Bachelor of Medicine. Jasmine graduated in 2018 with honours and received the Dean’s Certificate for Miscarriages of Justice. Following her admission to the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor in May 2019, after completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, she has built a strong reputation for handling complex criminal cases. Jasmine has been involved in several murder trials and appeals to the High Court of Australia, often collaborating with leading Counsel. Her experience spans appearances as both Counsel and Junior Counsel across various courts, including the Magistrates Court, the Court of Appeal, and the High Court. Her outstanding work in criminal law has been recognised in Doyles Guide. In addition to her criminal law practice, Jasmine manages the firm’s personal injury work, where her dedication and empathy have consistently earned positive feedback from clients. She also works on matters involving criminal assets confiscation. Jasmine's commitment and legal acumen led to her appointment as a partner at Barbaro Thilthorpe Lawyers in December 2022.
