Bruce Dulley

Bruce Dulley was admitted as a Legal Practitioner on 10 April 1973 and established his own practice in Brisbane on the same day, following valuable experience gained at Feez Ruthning and McCullough & Robertson. He remains the Principal of the firm, continuing a longstanding commitment to serving his clients. Bruce initially practised general law but gradually focused his expertise on family law, beginning under the Matrimonial Causes Act and, from 1975, under the Family Law Act. With over 35 years devoted exclusively to family law, he has built a substantial practice, including a well-regarded Town Agency service, which he finds particularly rewarding. Throughout his career, Bruce has handled both routine and complex family law matters, including intricate parenting and property settlement cases. His personal experience as a parent of an autistic child has provided him with a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by families with special needs children. Bruce’s daughter, Yasmin, who joined the firm in 2005, is also a solicitor practising exclusively in family law. Together, their team provides attentive, respectful, and cost-effective guidance to clients navigating separation and related issues. Bruce offers comprehensive advice and representation in areas such as property settlement for married and de facto couples, spousal maintenance, financial agreements, child care arrangements, child support, adult child maintenance, divorce, domestic violence, parenting orders, same-sex relationships, and appeals. Outside the office, Bruce enjoys a busy family life and engages in hobbies including fishing, boating, surfing, reading, and travel across Australia and Asia. His early achievements include being the spirit champion at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) and Queensland School Boys, as well as winning sprint championships at the University of Queensland.
