Brendan Rothschild

Brendan Rothschild is the Principal Solicitor with over two decades of legal experience across various esteemed firms, including top-tier, mid-range, and boutique firms. His extensive practice encompasses Divorce Law, Estate Planning, Family Law, Property Law, Trust and Estate Litigation, Wills Planning, Criminal Defence, Corporate Law, Labour and Employment Law, and Business Law. Since October 2018, Brendan has spearheaded the Brendan Rothschild Legal Group in Melbourne, where he continues to serve as Principal Lawyer. Prior to this, he was with Bayside Solicitors for over four years, and also contributed significantly to Fogarty, Bayard & Olver, where he managed property disputes, conveyancing, contracts, mortgage reviews, spousal maintenance, and family violence matters. His regular court appearances highlight his dedication to client advocacy and meticulous legal representation. Earlier in his career, Brendan was engaged at R B Legal Barristers and Solicitors, gaining invaluable experience in insolvency, debt recovery, property transactions, and employment disputes. His journey in law began at Hallett West, where he honed his skills as a paralegal. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne, establishing a solid foundation for his esteemed legal acumen. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his family, participating in cross fit, and is an ardent supporter of the Carlton Football Club.
