Murray Edwards

Murray Edwards is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in criminal law, probate and estates, estate planning, and conveyancing. Born in 1952 in rural New South Wales, Murray moved to Sydney where he completed his secondary education in the southern suburbs. His career began in 1974 when he joined the New South Wales Police Service, dedicating twenty-six and a half years to enforcing criminal, drug, and traffic laws across the state. While serving as a Detective, Murray managed to balance his demanding career with part-time legal studies at the University of Technology, Sydney. His dedication to the law culminated in his admittance as a Solicitor in July 1997. Following this achievement, Murray utilised his legal expertise within the Police Service, providing counsel to various internal departments. His distinguished service as a Police Officer earned him the National Medal and Police Medals, alongside a commendation for exemplary policing during a siege incident at the Spit Bridge in Mosman. In 2000, Murray transitioned to private practice on the Central Coast, where he enriched two law firms with his expertise before acquiring a practice in East Gosford. His journey continued with his appointment as a Criminal Lawyer at Brazel Moore Lawyers in November 2015, where he applies his extensive knowledge and experience to serve his clients diligently.
