Geoff Brazel

Geoff, born in 1956, embarked on his legal journey in the bustling heart of Sydney's Western Suburbs. His early career began in 1974 as a legal clerk in Liverpool, where he balanced his professional duties with part-time legal studies through the Solicitors’ Admission Board Course, aligned with the University of Sydney. In 1975, he expanded his horizons by joining the Office of the Clerk of the Peace, part of the NSW Attorney General’s Department, as a Legal Clerk. This position immersed him in the prosecution of serious criminal cases within the District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, offering him invaluable experience in high-stakes legal proceedings. After completing his legal education in 1978 and further honing his expertise at the College of Law, Geoff was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in July 1979. Geoff’s initial years as a solicitor were spent with a private legal firm in Fairfield, where he practiced until 1981. In March of the same year, he co-founded a practice with Peter Moore in Gosford. This firm has since evolved into one of the Central Coast's preeminent law firms, renowned for its dedication and insight. Geoff's approach to client service is characterised by his exceptional ability to listen attentively, allowing him to quickly pinpoint the core issues his clients face.
