David Vilensky is the Managing Director at BBV Legal, renowned for his extensive expertise in commercial and corporate law. With over 35 years of experience, David specialises in complex corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, and intricate contract drafting. His proficiency extends to the negotiation, advice, and drafting of a diverse range of commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and share sale agreements. David has a significant focus on the mining and resources sector, where he has been instrumental in negotiating joint ventures, farm-in agreements, and mining services agreements. His adeptness in advising on directors' duties and ASX compliance is well-regarded, as is his ability to navigate continuous disclosure obligations. His practice spans globally, serving clients in diverse jurisdictions such as Peru, Argentina, Brazil, China, and the USA. David is also experienced in handling the acquisition and sale of businesses, real estate, and shares in both private and public companies. His dispute resolution skills are highly effective, encompassing mediations, arbitrations, and resolving commercial disputes. Aside from his practice, David has contributed extensively to legal publications on topics like directors' duties and ethical billing practices.
