Daniel Loreck

Daniel Loreck serves as the Head of Family Law Practice at Bowen Buchbinder Vilensky, bringing over fifteen years of dedicated experience in assisting families with a wide array of family law matters. Joining the firm in 2021, Daniel has developed a reputation for his expertise in complex financial and parenting litigation, crafting prenuptial and child support agreements, and his ability to counsel clients effectively through family law and restraining order proceedings. With a commitment to achieving practical and prompt resolutions, Daniel strives to minimise costs and family discord. His journey in law began following his admission to legal practice in 2005. Daniel's early career involved practising as a criminal lawyer at the Mental Health Law Centre, followed by his role as a family violence lawyer with Legal Aid Western Australia. His longstanding commitment to community law is evident in his regular volunteer work as a pro bono solicitor and his active membership in various legal associations, including the Family Law Practitioners Association. Daniel's proficiency extends into areas such as property settlements, divorce, de facto relationships, and alternative dispute resolution, reinforced by his training in mediation and collaborative law. This comprehensive skill set enables him to effectively handle court representation, agency matters, and appeals, bringing a holistic approach to his practice. Academically, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University and a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from Curtin University. His professional journey has been marked by stints at DCH Legal Group, where he rose from associate to director, accumulating thirteen years of invaluable experience before joining BBV Legal. Outside of his legal pursuits, Daniel is a dedicated family man, enjoying time with his wife and children. He is also an enthusiastic kayaker, musician, and arts lover, adding a rich personal dimension to his professional life.
