Brett Linsdell

Brett Linsdell is an Associate Director with extensive experience practising as a costs lawyer across Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, and federal jurisdictions. He specialises in the preparation and review of Bills of Costs, as well as managing objections and undertaking settlement negotiations in a broad spectrum of cases, including personal injury claims and complex commercial litigation. Brett regularly represents clients before the Federal Court and the Victorian Costs Court, appearing in mediations and at contested taxation hearings. His approach is focused on maximising costs recovery for successful parties while carefully managing costs exposure for those less successful. Outside of his legal practice, Brett enjoys cycling and surfing.
