Ury Zhang

Ury Zhang is the Principal Lawyer and founder of Biz Lawyers, where he expertly handles matters related to general corporate law, residential and commercial property law, and wills and estate planning. With over 20 years of legal experience, Ury has served a vast array of clients, including individuals, high net worth clients, as well as corporate and institutional entities. His early role as the sole legal counsel for the listed Harvey World Travel Group saw him managing leasing, franchise, and supplier agreements. Ury also made significant contributions as a Senior Lawyer at Clayton Utz, focusing on complex property financing transactions for financial institutions and ASX-listed companies. Later, as an Associate Director at ANZ, Ury excelled in structuring and negotiating advanced debt transactions, particularly in the property finance sector, dealing with land and construction finance. Ury’s legal acumen is supported by his admission to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2003 and 2004, respectively. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University, along with a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, completed in 2013.
