Having owned and managed law firms in both Brisbane CBD and New South Wales, Jim understands the complexities of operating within diverse commercial landscapes. His professional background is further distinguished by senior executive roles in industrial companies, including positions as Director, Company Secretary, CEO, CFO, and General Manager, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on business operations and governance. Jim’s legal practice encompasses a broad range of areas, including business, company, and commercial matters such as structuring, agreements, purchases and sales, and fundraising. He advises on company governance and the establishment and functioning of advisory boards, holding certification as a Chair. His expertise extends to conveyancing and commercial leasing as well as wills, estate planning, and administration—particularly for business owners, retirees, and PAYG employees. Jim also represents clients in litigation matters related to these fields and plays a key role in coordinating legal, compliance, and special projects for business clients. His professional affiliations include membership of the Law Society of Queensland, Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce, and Tweed Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
