Ben von Einem

Ben von Einem is the Principal Lawyer and Director at vonLaw, bringing over two decades of legal experience serving clients in the Geelong region. He graduated from Deakin University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court in 2000. Ben’s practice focuses on criminal law, intervention orders, and family law. He is well regarded for his approachable manner, straightforward advice, and ability to provide timely and effective legal solutions. His advocacy skills are demonstrated through regular appearances across various courts and tribunals, including the Magistrates’ Court, County Court, Supreme Court, Federal Circuit Court, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Committed to advancing legal understanding, Ben has lectured at Deakin University’s Law School and contributed to legal publications in criminal law and human rights. He has also supported clients with intellectual disabilities in his previous role as principal solicitor at Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service. Ben holds memberships with the Law Institute of Victoria and the Geelong Law Association. Outside his legal career, he is an avid supporter of the Geelong Football Club and enjoys playing the guitar.
