Erin Bedford

Erin Bedford is a seasoned legal professional with a decade of experience, currently serving as the Director at Bedfords Legal. Her approach centres on understanding client goals to deliver tailored legal solutions that balance desired outcomes with commercial risks. Erin is committed to changing the perception of legal consultations as intimidating by offering a supportive and customised client experience. Erin's legal expertise spans across several areas including commercial law, business and real property conveyancing, and estate planning. She handles commercial transactions such as the sale and purchase of shares and businesses, shareholder agreements, leasing, franchising, and debt security documentation. In real property, she is adept in conveyancing within the ACT and NSW. Her estate planning skills involve the preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Binding Death Benefit Nominations. Beyond her role at Bedfords Legal, Erin contributes to the academic community as a Seasonal Academic at Australian National University, a position she has held since 2013. Her previous roles include Special Counsel and Principal at KJB Law, as well as Senior Associate at Tetlow Tigwell Watch Lawyers / Farrar Gesini Dunn. Erin's educational background is comprehensive, holding a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, both from the Australian National University.
